Asa suna prima declaratie oficiala a celor de la Rockstar Games priving noul GTA 5.
De asemenea, GTA 5 este declarat ca fiind cel mai ambitios joc, recreeand o mare portiune din California de Sud.Iar banii vor avea o mare influenta in joc indicata si in logo-ul GTA V, intr-o culoare verzuie, de smarald. Se crede ca Rockstar s-a inspirat din vechea bancnota a Dolarului American, fapt foarte plauzibil, luand in considerare imaginea de mai jos.
In GTA 5 se spune totusi ca actiunea va avea loc in Los Santos, anuland toate banuielile cum ca actiunea se va petrece din nou in San Andreas.In plus, jucatorii se vor putea bucura, asa cum este evident, de masini impresionante, la fel ca in GTA IV, grafica la limita dintre prezent – viitor si probabil de capacitatea de a cuceri teritorii sau de a avea propria banda.
